Water Main Break with a Boil Advisory-Grassland Hills Rd

Due to a water main break, the Jasper Municipal Water Department has turned the water off until the repair is completed. Once the water is turned back on, a Boil Water Advisory will be issued. This will affect 13 water customers on Grassland Hills Rd. This is a precautionary measure. The area affected consists of 3093 Grassland Hills Rd to 3292 Grassland Hills Rd. This is the only area affected.
The Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until further notice and is being issued to prevent residents from getting sick from potentially harmful germs or chemicals in the water.
Residents affected are asked to boil their water for 5 minutes before human and pet consumption. The water is safe for bathing.
The Boil Water Advisory will last a minimum of 48 hours or until 2 consecutive water samples pass testing. Another notification will be made once the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.
