Extreme Cold Weather Event Notification

Extremely cold weather is on the way across the entire Midwest. Temperatures will be well below normal starting Saturday and continuing through Tuesday before the temperature will return above the freezing point sometime Wednesday. During this time, it is important to protect yourself from the elements and avoid any long-term exposure to extreme cold temperatures which can be dangerous. It is also important to remember that only you can minimize the energy cost impact to your household or business by lowering the thermostat in your house during the extremely cold period to the extent you can do so safely. A one-degree difference can have a substantial impact on your heating bill during this period. Stay safe!
