November 19th the City of Jasper will be closing Mill Street

On Tuesday, November 19th the City of Jasper, along with its contractor, will be
closing Mill Street at the intersection with Ninth Street to Tenth Street for work in conjunction with the Mill Street
Watermain Replacement Project. With this project, the City will be replacing an existing 4-inch watermain
with a 8-inch watermain from Nineth Street to Fifteenth Street.
This project requires a daily block-by-block closure of Mill Street within the
block that the work is taking place. Residents need to have their vehicles off of
Mill Street for the effected block by 7AM daily. The street will be open in the
evenings and overnight.
