Jasper Municipal Gas Department Annual Gas Leak Survey
PRESS RELEASE
The Jasper Municipal Gas Department will be conducting their annual gas leak survey beginning September 16th. This year’s survey will cover the central part of the city primarily south of Schuetter Rd., including west to the Crooked Creek subdivision, east to 15th and Knust St and south to the Deer Creek subdivision in the Precious Blood area. Personnel will be checking meters on the outside of homes and businesses. They will have their city employee identification with them. Testing could take 3-4 weeks to complete. This survey is mandated by both State & Federal laws. This testing includes high pressure feeder mains.
