As part of the Multi-Use Trail Extension Project, the city and its contractor, will be doing work associated with the Multi-Use Trail along Northwood Avenue from Newton Street to St. Charles Street. This work will require the closure of the eastbound and the center turn lanes from Newton Street to St. Charles Street. Westbound only traffic from Newton Street to St. Charles will remain open to traffic. This closure is expected to begin on or after Wednesday July 24th and remain in effect until approximately mid-November. A dedicated detour route for eastbound traffic has been established and the detour signs are posted so please follow the marked detour route. The City of Jasper asks that you use caution when traveling through construction zones.
