The City of Jasper, Indiana

YARD WASTE COLLECTION (RUBBISH)

The Street Department collects yard waste (grass clippings, flower clippings, weeds, shrub clippings, etc.) for residents within the city limits of Jasper, IN. 

All yard waste must be put into containers or bundled, not weighing more than 40 pounds, & placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your designated day for yard waste collection. (see schedule below)

Tree limbs must be cut into 4-foot lengths and tied into bundles not weighing more than 40 pounds.

Tree stumps and tree trunks will not be collected.

Large piles of limbs due to storm damage only, will be collected as time permits.

The Street Department NO LONGER collects Rubbish from alley ways.

Schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are Yard Waste collection days for residents on 13th St and South of 13th St.
  
  
• Tuesday, Thursday are Yard Waste collection days for residents North of 13th St. 
• No Saturday pickup in this area

In the event of a Holiday or Severe Weather, this schedule will vary. 

Residents no longer need to call the Street Department to schedule a pick-up; as it will be collected on the  days designated to your area.

Mulching Mowers

Residents purchasing new lawn mowers may benefit by purchasing a mulching mower or one with mulching capabilities, thus enriching your lawn & eliminating the need to bag your grass as you cut it.
