Jasper Police Department Real-Time Intelligence and Communications Center (RTICC)
As a 24-hour Intelligence and Communications Center, the Jasper Police Department answers 911 and non-emergency calls from within the city and dispatches for both the Jasper Police Department and the Jasper Fire Department.
We have specialists at stand alone workstations for monitoring calls, researching information, and communicating with officers. With live feeds within the school corporation, Jasper City Hall, public parks, bodycams, and LPR cameras, specialized Communication Officers provide real-time information to officers in the field to help provide a force multiplier for the community. Traditional dispatch centers are a thing of the past and are now tasked with improving Officer's decision-making processes.
As well as responding to calls for service, the Jasper Police Department offers an array of services including criminal and non-criminal reports, vin checks, handgun permit processing, local background checks, extra patrols and business checks.
The Jasper Police Department attempts to detect and prevent crime with active patrolling and encourages the citizens of Jasper to report any suspicious activity.
